What's New?
I have been the Collection Development and Community Engagement Librarian at the Manchester Community Library
in Manchester, VT since May 2021. After being a nomad with no particular place to call home for almost 4 months while I started my new job, my family and I bought our
first home in Arlington, VT in August 2021. It still feels like we are settling in, but we are so grateful to have our own home and we've been spending a lot of time with our inherited
chickens. My husband and I named them after our grandmothers, using variations of their names: Lucia, Annie, Jo Jo and Millie. We love our hens
and we hope they love us, too.
I am looking forward to the end of winter and the beginning of some new possibilities as we continue to get back on our feet after the
harsh impact of the pandemic on our lives. I look forward to safely seeing more faces and gathering together again, and to seeing my son on play dates
with both new friends and old. I look forward to getting my mojo back, too, so stay tuned!
